Holland Election 2017.
The recent election in Holland has been heralded as a validation of the present policies of globalization and the rest of those destructive policy directions.
This is an invalid conclusion.
The electorate were faced with a situation where the country of Turkey was angrily denouncing Holland for some political infraction. Turkey was daily threatening some decisive actions and was appearing to be getting angrier each day that their demand was not being satisfied. Other concerned countries in Europe were asking Turkey to calm down.
There was a considered radical political party who had promised to drastically change the present political scene and had been considered a very strong possibility for ousting the present government and its policies.
Faced with the situation with Turkey and a growing concern that this radical party’s policies could inflame Turkey even more, they decided to stay with the present status quo political scene.
Future events in Holland will validate this conclusion.
If they do not develop the political will and determination to solve the crises they have voluntarily imported, it is easy to forecast the two following events:
- The old Vikings will close their borders in Valhalla to any wandering Hollander.
- Holland will be referred to in the history books as a country that used to exist but no longer does.
Europe will miss them.
