A Princely Decision.
Once upon a time there was a Prince who spent most of his day painting and writing poetry and other kinds of writing.
He knew it was not the things a Prince was supposed to do except as a pleasant pastime.
He decided he would ask the King to tell him what princely things he was supposed to do.
The King was annoyed at the question and retorted that he was too busy doing Kingly things.
The Queen also retorted she was too busy doing Queenly things and he should go and ask the country’s old Wise Wizard.
The Wise Wizard listened, nodded his wise old head, pondered and then smiled.
“A Prince should always remember he is a Prince and act like one.
When you do that — you will soon become a real Prince.”
