Aptly named?
It was one of Charles Dickens’s strength that he named some of his characters to display their major traits. Today there is a little touch of humor when certain public figures seem to follow this idea. For example we had Madoff making off with fund money.
In Canada, the Federal Finance Minister is giving a warning of large deficits needed to finance their Liberal Spending Plans and it would seem to be a continuation of this naming procedure. His name is Morneau and when it is spoken it becomes Morn-OWE.
